We love Karen Walker‘s fabulous sunnies, and the New Zealand designer has already cut her collabo chops with this year’s Anthropologie collex. Now, the designer is dipping into beauty with a Karen Walker lipstick made by Clinique.
The cosmetics company created the color used in Walker’s SS12 runway show, and the two brands decided to bring the coral ‘stick to the public. In an interview with Style.com, Clinique global color artist Jenna Menard described the color (appropriately called “Runway Coral”) as “youthful and feminine with a sophisticated twist,” just like Walker’s signature punchy patterns and bright colors.
Looking over Walker’s retro-chic sunglasses and brightly patterned SS12 collection, we think Runway Coral is right on. We’ll be dropping $15 for one when it hits Clinique.com in May.
