It’s been widely reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not expected to receive a “warm” welcome when they touch down in Australia for their controversial tour next month.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Montecito Neighbors Are Keeping Their Distance

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped down as senior royals in 2020 and have since relocated to Montecito, California, are reportedly not very close with their neighbors. And it's apparently all to do with their behavior!

While they aren't said to be actively feuding, there are claims that locals are choosing to distance themselves from the couple – echoing similar reports about their standing in Hollywood, as well as the apparent fallout from their reported tensions with Netflix.

"They are avoiding them. No one wants to be seen with them," a source reportedly told Page Six. The source went on to say that the situation isn't overly dramatic – unlike the royal family feud, for example – but suggested their behavior and attitude in general is not something the neighbors want to associate with.

"It's not hate. It's just a growing awareness that they're takers with zero self-awareness," the source continued, adding: "Everyone's exhausted by them." Yikes!

Netflix Is Reportedly 'Done' With The Sussexes, According To New Report

According to a bombshell report from Variety, which was published on March 17th, some insiders described the couple's overall "vibe" with Netflix as off, with meetings said to have been challenging due to what staff perceived as difficult working dynamics. One source reportedly claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan's "bedside manner has ruffled feathers in meetings." And one insider reportedly bluntly said: "The mood in the building is 'We're done.'"

According to insiders, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos – who has reportedly unfollowed Meghan and her lifestyle brand, As Ever, on social media – had grown "fed up" with the Sussexes, who allegedly had a habit of texting him directly and repeatedly about their projects.

Sources also alleged that Meghan would sometimes "talk over or recast" Prince Harry's thoughts during meetings, and that she would occasionally leave Zoom meetings if she became offended by something said during discussions – although these are claims their lawyer strongly pushed back against.
