Princess Beatrice And Princess Eugenie Are Reportedly Living In 'Horrific Limbo' After Being 'Duped' By Ex-Prince Andrew And Fear They Will Lose Their Royal Titles: 'On The Chopping Block'

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have felt the effect of the fallout from their father ex-Prince Andrew‘s scandals – most recently his arrest on his 66th birthday last month on suspicion of misconduct in public office during his time as special trade envoy, and sharing information with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

According to biographer Robert Jobson, the former Duke of York seemingly lied to his two daughters just as much as he did to the public about his previous antics. “They are pretty torn because they believed [their father.] Just like the late Queen and Charles, Andrew told them all the same story – that he had done nothing wrong,” he told People earlier this year. “My understanding is they feel pretty duped by the whole thing.”

According to reports, one of the things they are said to be most fearful of is how these scandals will affect their futures, as their cousin Prince William has made no secret of how he feels. And with the ongoing reports that he wants to reshape and downsize the monarchy, they fear that this is the perfect excuse to strip them of their HRH titles.

Princess Beatrice And Princess Eugenie Are 'Living In Limbo' And Fear Prince William Removing Their Titles

The sisters' lives have already changed due to their father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's scandals over the years, such as choosing to skip big events like Kate Middleton's Together at Christmas carol concert, and even Princess Eugenie stepping down from an anti-slavery charity she was with for seven years. But they fear that more could come!

"Beatrice and Eugenie feel like they are living in horrific limbo. They have spent years carefully building respectable private lives, yet the fallout from their parents' controversies keeps circling back to them," an insider told RadarOnline.

"There is a real concern that Prince William wants their heads on the chopping block as part of a harder line on which royals should remain publicly associated with the institution," they went on.

Sarah Ferguson Wants Her Daughters To Advocate For Her

And it isn't just their father that is to blame for this, as their mother Sarah Ferguson, former Duchess of York, is also under scrutiny. She too has been let go from several charities in recent months, and is reportedly wanting her daughters to speak out in her defense and help fix her reputation, rather than distance themselves from her to save their own.

"Sarah appears convinced that her daughters represent a pathway back into the social world she once moved in so comfortably," an insider said.

They went on: "In her view, Beatrice and Eugenie's friendships, their positions within royal circles, and their own respected reputations could open doors for her again if they were willing to advocate quietly on her behalf."

The 'Expectation Is Becoming Incredibly Difficult' For Princess Beatrice And Princess Eugenie

The princesses reportedly don't agree with their mom. They have already clashed over the release of her tell-all memoir about her marriage to their father, which could potentially also spill more royal secrets, and it seems like they are clashing over her expectation for them to defend her too.

"There is a real sense that Sarah expects the girls to step in and fix things for her. That expectation is becoming incredibly difficult for them because they have spent years carefully building their own lives away from controversy," an insider explained.

"Beatrice and Eugenie have effectively found themselves managing the reputational consequences of events they had no role in creating," they added.
