Meghan Markle is back to performing royal-like duties after making a moving speech at an event in Switzerland, and now, it looks like she’s enlisting the help of her young daughter instead of a palace stylist.

The Suits actress made headlines this weekend after attending and speaking at an online safety memorial event in Switzerland. Aside from her powerful and viral speech, social media was also talking about her look for the outing, which she later revealed on Instagram was selected for her by her four-year-old, Lilibet. Read more about her appearance at the event and what the internet had to say about it below.

Meghan Markle Speaks At An Online Safety Memorial Event & Makes Public Appearances In Switzerland

Though she officially stepped down from her royal duties as the Duchess of Sussex alongside her husband, Prince Harry, in 2020, the As Ever founder has continued to take on charitable and humanitarian projects on her own.

More recently, many social media users were impressed when they saw that she spoke at the unveiling of the Lost Screen Memorial in Geneva, Switzerland, an event and tribute to young people who have lost their lives due to cyberbullying and online violence. During the memorial on Sunday, May 17th, Meghan made a passionate speech that advocated for young social media and internet users, calling for more safety measures to be put in place by big tech companies.

"Now their faces ask the world questions we can no longer avoid: How many more millions of children will be harmed by products that, while innovative, are still designed without sufficient safeguards?" she asked a live crowd of attendees and reporters, as written by People.

Aside from her more solemn, simple black outfit she wore for the memorial, on Monday, May 18th, she stepped out in a springtime-coded light purple midi dress, which complemented her slender figure and was paired with a coordinating jacket as she spoke with members of the World Health Organization.

Meghan & Harry Reportedly Used To Disagree Over Their Children's Privacy

Though she's been sharing a lot of different promotional content for her brand lately, pushing past any backlash and rumors, the new video related to her children stood out to many on social media. It followed a new trend of her sharing more things about them, like earlier this month, when she revealed that Lilibet helped her choose an outfit for her trip to Switzerland.

The behavior is a sharp contrast from earlier reports that, as she continued planning for and filming her since-canceled Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, the Suits alumna and her husband were budding heads. The estranged prince reportedly was "reluctant to show his children publicly, not out of a desire to hide them but to protect their privacy and safety from potential threats," and even social media posts were an issue for him.

Now, it looks like the sharing of Archie and Lilibet's nicknames, as well as small 'fun facts' about their personalities, could be an indicator that their father is having a change of heart, or perhaps their mother is insistent on continuing to share that kind of information.
